Halloween is almost here AND although most people love watching creepy movies year round. The theme from Lucio Fulci's film Zombie has always held a special place in my heart. The opening scene of the abandoned ship floating through the NY harbor is pretty great. Well it's not "totally" abandoned. If you haven't seen it, maybe one day. Halloween is just around the corner!!! I'll be playing in Detroit possibly with the Disco Secret/Macho City posse. Stay de-tuned...

Xavier - Do It to the Max
Great track played by the likes of Scott Zacharias and Speculator among countless others. So good. Dude totally looks like Billy Dee Williams of Star Wars and Colt 45 fame. SMOoooooth.

The Hasbeens - Make The World Go Away
Well the "new" Tron movie is coming out next month here in NY and I plan to go see it. I heard Daft Punk did the soundtrack, and I'm curious how it came out. The original film had such a huge impact on me as a kid. It was the time of Atari, break dancing, and computers! Living in the future seeing things our parents didn't really know about yet. I can't think of a cooler video on the tube than Dj Overdose's mind blowing track "Make the world go away". This takes me back to not having to worry about such trivial bullshit that surrounds us as adults. Take it away Overdose!!!

Aaron Carl - Tears
Aaron Carl passed away from cancer a few days ago. Many know him best for his track "Down" on Metroplex Records. Funky electro with dark vocals about wanting to go down on someone. He made a bunch of house tracks as well such as this one. He was 37 years old and will be missed from Detroit and beyond. R.I.P. Carl. Thanks for the music you left behind.
