Dave Smith Instruments- Tempest Analog Drum Machine- Roger Linn Design

Roger Linn and Dave Smith tearin it up in this demo. Kinda amazing to try and think what a drum machine needs to be in 2011 and into the future. I wouldn't know where to start, but they did...

Inside DEVO's Studio with Mark Mothersbaugh (2010)

Mark Mothersbaugh displaying some completely off the wall gear in this interview. He really takes tennis rackets to the extreme here. If you haven't watched this before, please do. From classic synths to circuit bent and onto homemade stuff. This guy has always been inspiring.

I survived disco

I saw this at a deli down the street today. Pretty funny slam on disco. The old rocker vs. disco shit. The goddamn Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and countless others made disco songs. Nice neclkace "man".

The Royal Jesters - I Won't Love You

A great soul group from my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. My dad turned me on to this and I love the trippy little intro. More than just tacos, chips and salsa!

Kraftwerk - Radioaktivität

Well, funny enough that I may have never mentioned Kraftwerk before on my blog. They've been so influential in many aspects of electronic music. From New Wave style to building their own synths, you name it. I don't really want to talk about them too much as you can buy the DVD's or read pantloads about them on the web. All I want to say is that they probably mean different things to different people and this song still give me those chills. We are lucky to have had them in our lifetime.

Jus Nice It Up

Sometimes you just sit there and laugh out loud when you see certain records. It still happens all the time when record nerd friends dig together saying things like "Oh maaaan, here's that amazing record you've been looking for." NOT that this Bobby Konders is in the same category per say. When I found this the other day I just laughed out loud to myself, then of course had to listen to it. I do already have a copy, but sometimes I just enjoy finding things again and the great artwork that accompanies all these old records. No doubt about the qualityof the acid house tracks released on this monster of an EP...INNA MASSIVE SOUNDS STYLE.
