Public Broadcasting Party In Brooklyn This Week!

 

This is gonna be a fun one. My old friend William Burnett is "supposed" to be playing records with me at Daddy's. He always flakes out, so it'll be interesting to see if he actually shows up. Leavin here pretty soon to go to Detroit. It's a long drive but totally worth it. I always take photos and never put them up. What a great city with a lot of amazing people. If you ever have a chance to go to Detroit, you should. You guys wanna party a little?

Dancing In Outer Space - Atmosfear

As classic as "classics" get. 1979 this came out on Elite Records. I guess Andy Sojka had something to do with the group Powerline as well since "Watching You" came out on a split 12" with 3rd Army also on Elite Records. I always liked this song and it continues to grow on me over time. Great synth work on this one!

Blood 'N' Kittens @ MOCAD again...

Hey, I'm super excited to play with the Macho City/Disco Secret guys again at this amazing party in Detroit this weekend. TB-303 Documentary - Bassline Baseline (2005)

Nice doc on the 303 with some tidbits about Roland early on. Some things are left out and perhaps not exactly correct, but it's worth a watch. I'm sure it's not easy making a doc like this about 1 instrument. Check it out...
